The first thing to do is figure out how many people are going to be playing so you can decide how many poker chips you're going to need, how many decks of cards you need and how many tables and chairs. For anywhere up to 8 players you'll only need one table (and 8 chairs, obviously!) If you have up to 15 players go for two tables, and up to 20 have three tables. If you're going any higher than that it's really up to you, and how many poker players you want to have at each table.
