How to Host Your Own Poker Night!
Texas Holdem Game Rules
In a perfect world everyone would already know
all the rules to Texas Holdem, but if we lived in a perfect world
I wouldn't have such a fat ass! Ha ha! Take some time at the beginning
of the game to go over the rules to Texas
Holdem for the novice players and the players who haven't played
before, and explain how the game is played. You may even want to
play a couple of hands open first so that they can practice (&
hopefully they won't bug you later!)
Also, have a schedule for increasing the blinds,
say every 20 minutes or so once play starts to wind down. How much
you increase the blinds by is determined by how long you want to
play and how much the chips are worth. If you want a longer game
you can give the chips lower values and increase the blinds less
often, but if you're trying to keep a short game, give the chips
a higher value and increase the blinds more often & to higher
amounts.
