Celebrity Poker Showdown will have a new home and a new face when it returns for it?s eight season on Bravo. Producers of the poker tournament show could think of no better place than the Big Easy, New Orleans to film the tournament. The new season will also feature Phil Hellmuth as former Kid?s in the Hall star Dave Foley?s co-host.

"In Phil Hellmuth we have found an engaging, proven and renowned poker champion who we are confident will complement Dave Foley's comedic commentary and provide the insight our viewers rely on," explained Bravo.

So far the cable television network has donated more than $2 million to the hurricane devastated areas, Bravo is hoping that televising the Celebrity Poker Showdown from New Orleans will showcase the city?s gambling industry.

"New Orleans is a city with a heart and soul like no other American city, and being that it is the birthplace of poker, there was no better place to take our show," said executive producer Marcia Mule. "And in the process, to be able to give away a million dollars to help bring back the Big Easy, that's a winning hand."

Phil Hellmuth, the nine-time bracelet winner in the World Series of Poker will defiantly help the show have professional poker vibe, Hellmuth is replacing another poker great Phil Gordon.
