How to Host Your Own Poker Night!
What To Do About Cards
Obviously you'll need at least one
deck of cards
per table (otherwise what are you going to do?! Ha ha) but it's
usually smarter to have two decks per table. And wait to open them
in front of the players. This way they know that the cards aren't
stacked or marked, and also there's just something cool about opening
a fresh deck of cards! Very classy.
The other good thing about having two decks at
the table is that they can be alternated between hands, and while
one deck is being dealt to the players the other one can be shuffled
so it's ready to go for the next hand. This keeps things moving
faster and smoother.
